Tech Blog - July 2023
New features added and issues addressed in the TurboQSA product. July 2023.
Our key priorities for the month of July 2023 were bugfixing, addressing feedback received from our production customers and making steady progress for premium features in the ROC v4.0 product.
Bug fixes & improvements:
- Word document rendering, explicit page breaks where appropriate.
- Eliminated confusion by removing "Client Administrator" role and unifying elevated access under Master Admin.
- Introduced Executive Client Representative role to replace "Client Engagement Manager".
- UI improvements: opening links in the same tab where appropriate.
- v4.0: ASV scan fields to allow explicit file uploads.
- Email notifications for disabled users are now explicitly turned off.
- Fixed image uploads for support tickets.
- Improvements to application logging.
- Better support for report type (Merchant / Service Provider) changes.
- v3.2.1: "N/A" checkbox disabled on requirements 3.2.1-3.2.3, UI validation logic changed to prevent N/A selection on these requirements
New Features:
- Controls Matrix data model and UI for the customized approach.
- Client access for the customized approach.
- QA Feature: additional checks including Sample Size validation and better warning messages.
- Real-time automated QA digest updates.
- File attachment support added for all ROC controls. Added file attachment review status feature to make sure attachments are acknowledged and acted upon.
- (preview) Targeted Risk Assessment feature is coming in August!
